The PRIAE

The PRIAE is dedicated to the study, digital inventory and promotion of the musical and sound heritage of Antiquity and the Middle Ages.

Its approach is multidisciplinary: breaking down the barriers between disciplines, building bridges between professionals and bringing different skills into dialogue, to move research forward.

Archaeologists, musicologists, metrologists, engineers, craftspeople and musicians work together there, in collaboration with museums, conservation bodies and research laboratories.
